April 22, 2018



VBS Volunteer Fair will be held immediately after morning worship service Sunday, April 22 in the fellowship hall.

Noon/Evening Bible Study will meet on Wednesday, April 25, but will not meet on May 2 nor May 9.  


Bible Study will reconvene on May 16, 2018 and continue through June 6, 2018.  



All members who signed up for the Teen Ministry trip to Carowinds scheduled for May 26, 2018, please see Minister Yevette Thomas after service Sunday, April 22.



The First Aid Health Ministry of New Providence Baptist Church and The Blood Connection are hosting a Blood Donor Drive on April 28 from 9 a.m.—1 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Church.  After completion of your donation, you will receive a snack and a Chick-Fil-A gift card.  One donation can save 3 lives!  Please contact Sister Michelle Williams or Sister Wanda Adams for additional information.



WMBA Union will be held at Springfield MBC Saturday, April 28 at 8:30 a.m.  (4309 Auburn Knightdale Road, Raleigh, NC)



NPBC Corporate Intercessory Prayer is scheduled for Sunday, April 29 at 8 a.m.




Upcoming Events:


Homecoming Ministry will meet on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Media Annex.



Annual National Day of Prayer and Breakfast will be held at First Baptist Church downtown Raleigh on Wilmington Street on Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 a.m.  Theme: “Pray for Unity” (Ephesians 4:3).



WMBA JFW Oratorical Contest will be held on Saturday, May 5 at Oak City Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina at 1:00 p.m.  Rev. Dr. Newkirk is the Pastor.



Ladies, please join the Women’s Ministry session scheduled for Saturday, May 5 at 9:30 a.m. as we continue “Women Reaching Women for Christ.”  Women’s Ministry is for all women ages 18 and up.



Pastor Wood, choir, ushers and congregation will render service at First Baptist Church in Siler City on Sunday, May 20 at 3 p.m.  The Pastor is Rev. Dr. Barry Gray who also serves as the Moderator of the Deep River Missionary Baptist Association.



VBS Volunteer Training will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in the fellowship hall.  Please contact Sister Tangela Nixon for any questions.



The Fellowship Ministry will be available to receive payments for the DC Museum Trip following morning service in the administrative wing.  Travel dates are July 20 through July 21.  



Reminder:   Food Bank distributions on Saturdays before the second and third Sunday each month
