NPBC “Quarterly Church Conference” will be held on Friday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. All Disciples and especially Chairpersons are asked to please attend. Chairpersons, please submit your Ministry Reports to Sister Retha Bethea no later than Wednesday, December 6th by 5:00 p.m.
 
 
Please contact Sister Yvonne Highsmith by December 11th if you are interested in attending the 2024 GBSC Martin Luther King, Jr Memorial Banquet. The event is scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2024 at
7:00 PM. Location: Hilton Raleigh North Hills on Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC.

Join the Sunday School Ministry on Sunday, December 17th, 2023 @ 10:00 AM during the morning worship service for our Christmas Program-Play. Remaining rehearsals for all participants in the Christmas program-play is December 9th & December 16th @ 10:00 am. All youth, there is room for you in the Young Adult Choir if you’d like to participate in the Christmas program.
 

Home for the Holidays Toy Drive: The Missions Ministry is collecting toys for the NPMBC “Christmas Store”.
Support our toy drive by: Submitting the names of families or individuals in need of Christmas toys,
providing unwrapped toys for children ages 6 months to 11 years of age, and making money donations.
Collection dates will continue through Sunday, December 10, 2023.


UPCOMING EVENTS:
 

“New Year’s Eve Service” will be held at New Providence Baptist Church on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 10:00 PM.
 

Woman’s Baptist Home & Foreign Missions Convention (WBHFMC) 71st One-Day Session will begin
at 10:00 AM on January 13, 2024 at Hilton Raleigh North Hills Hotel located on Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, North Carolina. Registration fee is $20.00.
 
 
All “2024 Officers” will be installed during morning worship service on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
 
 
Starting January 2024, the Children’s Church Ministry will begin scheduling Bible Lessons on the 4th Sunday. The Ministry Volunteers will meet with the children ages (2-Kindergarten and and Grades 1-4) on 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday each month.
 
 
Any special virtual or in-person programs planned by the various ministries for 2024 should be submitted to Sister Yvonne Highsmith no later than Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Please include your proposed dates for approval. Please email all requests to: (npbc_admin@newprovidencebaptist.com).


REMINDERS:
 
 
Evening Bible Study: Join us as we study The Beatitudes by Matt Chandler. What does it mean to be blessed? And, more importantly, how do we become someone who is blessed? The kind of life God is calling us to may not look the way we imagined, but it will be better than we could have hoped. This study will be lead by Deacons Alvin Morman, Cleon Umphrey and Garnell Heggie.
 
 
NPBC Afternoon Bible Study will continue through March 20, 2024. The Study Session: “The Book of Job: A Battle for Righteousness”. Call-In will be available every Wednesday morning starting at 11:50 a.m.
