WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* The Second Quarterly Conference will be held Friday, June 12th at 7:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. The link to the Ministry Reports has been sent out and the reports are due no later than June 10th.
* Pastor’s 37th Pastoral Anniversary will be observed the weekend of June 13, 2026. The theme is Enduring the Journey: 37 Years of Faith, Leadership and Legacy. The supporting scripture is 1 Thessalonians 1:3. The anniversary picnic will be held at Parrish Womble Park, 1201 Grisby Avenue, Holly Springs, NC on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Our guest speaker for Sunday Service is Pastor William H. Clayton, II of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Henderson, NC
* In observance of the Pastor’s Anniversary, the New Providence Missionary Baptist Church Food Pantry will not operate on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The pantry will instead serve the community on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Thank You.
* Get Ready for Illumination Station: As we countdown to VBS we are looking forward to seeing YOU there! VBS will begin Sunday June 28th immediately following morning worship! It will continue through Thursday beginning at 6:30 PM nightly (Monday-Thursday). Dinner will be served immediately following morning worship on Sunday and nightly from 5:00 PM- 6:15 PM. This year’s theme shines a light on who Jesus really is. Registration is open for all classes and range from Pre-K to the adults! If you have not registered please visit us online under the Spiritual Growth tab. Click on Vacation Bible School and it will lead you to our online registration, or you can find this information at the top of our landing page found at newprovidencebaptist.com If you have any questions, please stop by the VBS table in the Administration Wing following morning worship!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
* Mark your calendars: The Wake Missionary Baptist Association will be having a Correctional Ministry Training on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 5410 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC. If you are interested please contact Sis. Betty Ballentine at bballentine3319@att.net.
* We’re planning our 2026 Thrive Lock-In and want to see how many students are interested! It’s going to be a fun night filled with games, food, fellowship, and more. The lock-in will be held here at the church from July 10 at 7 PM through July 11 at 7 AM. If you are a middle or high school student — or know someone who is — we’d love for you to sign up!
REMINDERS:
* We will be on sabbatical from Noonday and Evening Bible Study and will return on August 5, 2026.
* Youth Sunday School will continue each second and third Sunday of the month. Children, come and learn more about God’s word and have breakfast on us. Breakfast and devotion begin at 8:30 AM with the lesson starting at 8:45 AM sharp. Sunday School is good!
* We would love to hear of the good news of our Membership. Examples: Retirement, Promotions and Accomplishments. Sister Moffett will share the information every quarter to the membership via email based on received reports. Please send the information in 40 words or less to Sister Tammy Chapman at goodnews@newprovidencebaptist.com.

* The First Aid Ministry will administer blood pressure checks on the third Sunday of each month. If you would like your blood pressure checked, please come to the front of the Sanctuary after our morning worship service.
* NPBC Prayer Line Call-In will be available every Thursday morning at 6:00 AM. (Dial 848-220-3300. Access code 7266492#) The email address for prayer request is prayer@newprovidencebaptist.com. Prayer Request can be submitted on line or placed in the “Prayer Request” box. Intercessory Prayer members will pray over every request submitted.
