2026 Prayer and Fasting Guide: The Intercessory Prayer Ministry started the spiritual discipline of Prayer and Fasting session. A guide has been prepared to help us unify as we petition God’s guidance and provision in 2026. Guides are available in the vestibule and online. Thank you for participating.
Please remember to stop by the Church Directory Table and schedule your appointment for our 2026 Directory. Detailed information is available at the table. Portrait dates are January 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd, 25th. Portrait Sessions will be available on Saturday, January 24th after the conclusion of the Leadership Conference. Reminder cards will be available for anyone who needs one. Ministries should have already scheduled your ministry pictures. Thank you from the Fellowship and Media Ministry!
Chairperson “Leadership Conference” will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in the fellowship hall starting at 9:00 a.m.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
The GBSC Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Memorial Banquet” will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Convention Center in Greenville, NC at 7:00 PM. The cost is $80.00 per person. Doors open at 6:15 PM. Woman’s Foreign Mission is scheduled for Saturday, January 17 at the same location.

Thrive Youth Ministry: All Middle and High School Youth are invited to our Thrive Youth Ministry Sessions
every second Sunday in the fellowship hall after the morning announcements.
NPBC Noonday Bible Study starting January 14, 2025 – May 27, 2026. JOIN US FOR THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL: KEEPING FAITH WHEN ALL FEELS LOST. THIS IS AN EXPOSITORY PRESENTATION OF TWO OF THE MAJOR THEMES OF EZEKIEL: GOD’S HOLINESS AND GOD’S POWER, THUS WE OUGHT TO “BE REVERENT! What happens when God’s chosen people take the place God intended as a hub of His life-giving presence and corrupt it into a source of abuse and injustice? Walk with Ezekiel through the tragic loss of the temple in Jerusalem to see how God will bring restoration, hope, and new life on the other side of exile. Evening Bible Study: The Disciples Toolkit – Join us on Wednesday Nights for a six-week journey to strengthen essential discipleship practices. Whether new to the faith or seeking a reset, this series offers simple tools like fasting, prayer, church, and Bible Study to deepen your walk with Christ. Please pick up your printed booklet in the vestibule or download it from the website.
Youth Sunday School will continue each second and third Sunday of the month. Children, come and learn more about God’s word and have breakfast on us. Breakfast and devotion begin at 8:30 AM with the lesson starting at 8:45 AM sharp. Sunday School is good!
We would love to hear of the good news of our Membership. Examples: Retirement, Promotions and Accomplishments. Sister Highsmith will share the information every quarter to the membership via email based on received reports. The First Aid Ministry will administer blood pressure checks on the third Sunday of each month. If you would like your blood pressure checked, please come to the front of the Sanctuary after our morning worship service.
