Children and Youth
Children’s Church
The Children’s Church ministry serves young disciples from ages 4 through 2nd grade and 3rd through 6th grade on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays during morning worship. Our mission is to provide a teaching ministry that centers on fun, interactive, and age-appropriate Bible application in every lesson. We pray that children will connect with God and the Bible and be introduced to Jesus Christ. Lesson Curriculum is found at kidssundayschool.com. If you are a member of NPBC and would like to volunteer for Children’s Church, please contact Yolonda Beatty at childrenschurch@newprovidencebaptist.com to request the SignUpGenius link and password for kidssundayschool.com childrenschurch@newprovidencebaptist.com

Thrive Ministry (formerly Teen Ministry)
The vision of THRIVE is to help our teens know Jesus, navigate their culture, engage their world with the gospel, and THRIVE! To THRIVE is to flourish, to grow vigorously. There is a difference between surviving and thriving. Surviving means “to continue to live or exist,” while thriving can be defined as “to grow or develop well, to prosper or to flourish.” Each 4th Saturday meeting will be a mixture of small-group activities focusing on connections to help them navigate life, grow spiritually, and THRIVE. They will engage in relevant teaching, fun fellowships, discipleship, teen talks, crafts, games, and evangelism. We want to balance teaching “what they need to know ” and “what they need to grow!” So, over the next two years, we will have discussions and presentations about Identity, Purpose, Mental Health and Anxiety, the Holy Spirit, and prayer.
